Faya-fayan CD na asali an kera su ne don taskancewa da kuma jiyar da sauti ko murya na wakoki ko laccoci kadai (audio CDs), kuma sun samo asali ne tun shekarar 1982, kamar yadda bayanai suka gabata a baya. Girman Faifan CD duk bai wuce milimita dari da ashirin (120mm) ba, kuma kana iya sauraran wakoki ko kallon bidiyo na tsawon minti tamanin (80mins), ko zuba tsantsar bayanai (kamar kasidu ko makaloli) da mizaninsu ya kai miliyan dari bakwai, watau 700MB kenan a mizani ko ma’aunin adana bayanai na kwamfuta.

Duk da cewa Faya-fayan CD sun shahara a hannun mutane a duniya baki daya, kuma ma har wasu na ganin cewa lokacinsu ya fara wucewa, saboda Faifan DVD da Blue-Ray Disc da aka samu yanzu, ba dukkan masu amfani da wannan fasaha suka san hakikaninsa ba. Da me aka kera Faifan CD? Ba kowa zai baka wannan amsa ba. Muna dai amfani dashi ne a tsarin nan na Black Box kawai; watau a ci baure, amma ban da tona cikinsa. Wannan Jami’a, kamar yadda masu karatu suka ji a labaru, na daya cikin Jami’o’in da ake ji dasu wajen kayayyakin aiki, da kyawawan tsari, da kuma muhallin karantarwa mai kayatarwa. Hukumar Saudiyya ta dauki tsawon lokaci tana tanadi wajen kafa wannan jami’a, inda aka dauki nauyin masana suka yi ta jele tsakanin manyan kasashen duniya da suka ci gaba a fannin Kimiyya da Fasaha; irinsu Amurka da Nahiyar Turai da Malesiya da Singafo da sauran kasashen da suka ci gaba, don dauko samfurin tsarin da ake ake amfani dasu a jami’o’in wadannan kasashe. An kuma kashe a kalla dalar Amurka biliyan goma ne wajen gina makarantar, wajen naira biliyan dubu daya da dari biyar da arba’in kenan kudin Najeriya.

Sauran fannonin sun hada da Fannin Kimiyyar Lantarki (Electrical Engineering), da Fannin Kimiyyar Muhalli (Environmental Science and Engineering), da Fannin Kimiyyar Makamashi (Material Science and Engineering), sai kuma Fannin Fasahar Kere-kere (Mechanical Engineering). An tsara wadannan kwasa-kwasai ne don baiwa dalibai ilimi mai amfani da gamsarwa, wadanda zasu iya ciyar da al’umma gaba a ko ina suka samu kansu a duniya. Kuma kamar yadda bayani ya gabata, shahararrun malaman jami’a da ke kasashe dabam-daban ne suka tsara manhajar karantar wadannan kwasa-kwasai.

Jami’ar bata tsaya wajen samar da muhallin karatu mai gamsarwa da inganci kadai ba, hatta tallafin karatu tana baiwa dalibai. Ga dukkan alamu, idan bai zo na daya a duniya ba, tallafin da wannan makaranta ke baiwa dalibi na sahun na gaba-gaba a duniya, inda ta sha alwashin bayar da tallafin dalar Amurkar dubu talatin ($30,000) a kalla, ga dalibi.
